Droply has no account system, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers.
We never collect or see your data. Your hydration progress stays on your
device and, if you use iCloud, syncs privately through your own Apple
account — described below.
The details
What we collect
Nothing. Droply has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. The app makes no network requests to us or to any third party. The only network activity happens inside your own Apple account — iCloud sync and the App Store In-App Purchase check, both described below — and neither ever sends us any data.
Where your data lives
Your data — lifetime droplets, daily logs, streak, freeze tokens, tier progress, daily goal, and unit preference — is stored on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). If you are signed in to iCloud, Droply also syncs this same data through your own private iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) so it's available on your other devices and after reinstalling the app. This stays inside your personal Apple account — it goes to Apple, never to us, and we never see it. You can stop this at any time by turning off iCloud for Droply in iOS Settings, in which case your data stays only on the device.
Notifications
If you grant permission, Droply schedules local reminder notifications on your device to help you keep your hydration streak. These are generated entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Droply.
In-App Purchases (Droply Pro)
Droply offers an optional one-time purchase, Droply Pro. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit — Droply never sees or stores your name, card, or payment details. To know whether you own Pro, the app asks Apple's App Store whether a valid purchase exists on your Apple ID. That check happens between your device and Apple; no purchase information is ever sent to us. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
Sharing
When you tap "Share" on a tier card, iOS presents the standard share sheet so you can send an image you created to apps of your choosing. Droply does not upload or transmit anything on its own — you decide where the image goes.
Third parties
Droply contains no third-party SDKs, trackers, or analytics. There are no external dependencies.
Children
Droply does not collect data from anyone, including children.
